A Minneapolis-based Costume Designer and Technician, Mary’s local designs include The American Clock (UMN/Guthrie), Waiting for Waiting for Godot (Loudmouth Collective),  The Peoples’ Circus (UMN/dance), A Wrinkle in Time (Lyric Arts), and The Nightingale (Stages Theatre/Escalate Dance).  Nationally, she has held the position of Design Assistant for the Santa Fe Opera (Capriccio  and Die Fledermaus) and Mill City Summer Opera (Daughter of the Regiment).   Other designs include A Midsummer Night’s Dream with the Cincinnati Shakespeare Company, Lend Me a Tenor and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee with Ozark Actor’s Theatre.

As a costume technician Mary has had the pleasure of working with The Moscow Ballet, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Cincinnati Shakespeare Company, Chanhassen Dinner Theatre, VStar Entertainment Group,  St. Louis Shakespeare Festival, and Stages St. Louis.

She received her MFA from the University of Minnesota—Twin Cities.
